Setoland is famous for its beautiful nature, unique culture and extraordinary hospitality. Seto handicraft is very distinct compared to other parts of Estonia. The Seto people are a Finno-ugric language speaking minority inhabiting the South-Eastern part of Estonia called Setomaa, characterized by Orthodox Christian traditions and a unique song-based culture called Seto leelo. Their history spans thousands of years of settlement in the region and is marked by shifts in political borders, particularly after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Despite facing challenges from cultural assimilation and a divided homeland, the Seto people maintain a distinct identity, with Setomaa as a focal point for their cultural heritage. During the handicraft tour you will relax in Värska SPA Hotel in Setomaa, enjoy guided handicrafting and great local food in Setomaa. The price is 2050 euros and it includes: • 6 workshops in different Seto techniques by the best handicraft masters, including materials and tools (for example, knitting, lace crocheting, embroidery, sprang belt making, doll making, tablet weaving). • 5 nights in Värska SPA Hotel double-room with breakfasts. • 4 lunches and dinners in local gourmet restaurants in Setomaa. • Visiting Seto Farm Museum and Kriisa Talo Handicraft Farm. • Visiting Estonian National Museum in Tartu. • Ticket and transport to Seto Kingdom Day Festival. • Unlimited usage of saunas, pools and gym during opening hours. • Bus transportation Tallinn – Setoland – Tallinn. PayPal payments will have an extra EUR 110 charge, so your total is 2160. If you pay via bank transfer, please make it FULL AMOUNT TO BENEFICIARY! Your total will be 2050 euros.
