Knitted with two colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Nõo area in ESTONIA. It is a large ancient motif, depicting the powerful 8-pointed star. The star, with its 8 corners unites heaven and hell, good and bad, light and dark. It protects you from all the evil.
Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. All the yarns are hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful lacy ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist.
The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.
