#177: Finely Knitted Estonian Lady’s Gloves in Vigala Style in Pink and Natural Grey and Natural Brown Yarn from Kihnu Island

Knitted with three colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Vigala area in Western ESTONIA. It is an ancient motif on them: a Cat Paw Pattern and a Sieve Pattern combined.

Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. The pink yarn is hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. The grey and brown yarns are natural sheep color. They come from Kihnu Island. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful lacy ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist.

The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.
