Knitted with three colored yarn – yellow, grey and brown – in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The yellow yarn is hand dyed, the grey and brown are natural sheep color, 100% wool from Kihnu Island, Estonia. Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK-weight yarn, they are perfect to block wind and wear in winter.
This pattern is called Butterfly Pattern and it comes from Viru-Jaagupi area in Lääne-Viru County, Estonia. The cuff is knitted colorfully using the triangular style, which streches nicely and keeps snug around the wrist.
