Knitted with three colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Meremäe area in Setoland, ESTONIA. It is an ancient motif, depicting crosses and rhombi. The small geometrical patterns are the oldest ones.
Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. The orange yarn is hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. The off-white and grey are natural sheep color. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful lacy ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist.
The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.
