#159: Finely Knitted Seto Estonian Gloves in Radaja Style in Coral Blue and Turquoise and Color Galore Cuffs

117.00

Knitted with many-many colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Radaja area in Setoland, ESTONIA. It is a geometrical motif, almost like an op-art.

Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. All the yarns are hand dyed, all 100% wool from Estonia. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful triangular ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist. I have use a lot of the tiny yarn balls which are left overs from bigger projects. That creates a joyful combination which will draw a lot of attention.

The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.

Approx women’s size 7-8.
