#157: Finely Knitted Estonian Gloves in Räpina Style in Pinks Galore

111.00

Knitted with six or more colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Räpina area in Põlva County, ESTONIA. It is an ancient geometrical pattern and it is called a Swirly Pattern.

Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. All the yarns are hand dyed, all 100% wool from Estonia. The off-white is natural sheep color. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful triangular ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist.

The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.

Women’s size approx 7.5-8.
