Knitted mostly with two colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The wrists are knitted in the entralac technique using matching shades and some pink.
The pattern comes from Jüri area in historic Harju County in Northern Estonia capital region. It is an ancient geometrical pattern, depicting 8-pointed star. It combines good and evil, heaven and earth, left and right, warm and cold.
Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. The yarns are hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter.
The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.
