Description: Knitted with three colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Rannu area in Tartu County, ESTONIA. It is an intricate pattern and the description at the museum says that "It is knitted by a fully blind person in 1849".  The pattern is stored at the The National Museum of Estonia under the code ERM 600.

Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. The yarn is hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. The off-white tone is natural sheep coor. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful lacy wrists are knitted using all three different colored yarns. The result is elegant like a bracelet.
There are strings at the edge to make it easy for you to hang them up to dry or store.

The gloves are colorworked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-leyer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.

Women's size, also available for custom order in any sizes.
