Knitted with three colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Sangaste area in Valga County. It is an ancient geometrical pattern, depicting powerful and protective 8-pointed star. The dots between are called a Sieve Pattern, which sieves good and bad, cold and warm, men and women …
Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. The pink and black yarns are hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. The off-white is natural sheep color. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful lacy ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist.
The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.
Women’s size.
