#111: Finely Hand Knitted Estonian Gloves in Räpina Style in Burgundy and Natural Grey with Swirly Ribbing

96.00

Knitted with two colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Räpina area and it is called a Swirly Pattern. It is an ancient circle pattern, reminding a Cat Paw Pattern and also has eight powerful corners to protect you, like 8-corner star.

Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. The burgundy yarn is hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. The grey is natural sheep color. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful twisty ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist.

The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.

Women’s size.
