Knitted with mostly three colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Lobodka Village in Setoland, ESTONIA. It is an ancient saltire (a diagonal cross) pattern, which cores I have emphasized with yellow to show the hidden smaller cross.
Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. All the yarns are hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful lacy ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist.
The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.
